30 Days

30 Days

I watched the first episode of 30 Days in my class and I'll talk about it on this blog.

1. First, I was so surprised to know free institutions like free stores and free clinics. I have never known such place, so I thought America is developed country in such support institutions. I can't imagine myself trying to support myself on the equivalent of minimum wage. It would be so difficult for me because if I couldn't buy things I need or want, I would have so much frustration. Such life seems to be kind of miserable. What I learned from this program is how difficult the life with minimum wage is. It seems to be immpossible for me to spend such life, but actually, some people live in such situation. I think we should know and think about the reality of the world more deeply.

2. If I could live someone else's life, for example, the life of Cristian sisters, for 30 days, what is it like? My life would change completely from present one. They must live in the particular home with their fellows and pray every morning and can't associate with men. Now, I live in my house alone and spend my life freely, so it would be so different from my present life. For me, it seems not to be free and I can't live in such situation. However, they have strong belief and choose such life by themselves. It is reputable. If I could live like them, I could know not only the doctrine of Christianity but also the strong belief of Christians. Having one's own belief and spending a full life along with my own belief is one of my goal, so encouragement from this life would affect and change me in a positive way.
